Good to know. I considered a laser 'deal' too, but thankfully researched the company doing the offer first and the reviews were terrible. I'm glad you're at least receiving results! Maybe the way to go with these 'deals' is to avoid the service ones, and just go for the discount events, etc.? I was going to buy a car detailing offer, but googled reviews first and once again, the reviews were awful... so I didn't go for it.

I guess you should always research multiple reviews for purchases like these! I always do for larger purchases, but often don't think of it when the amount is small. Buyer be ware!

That sounds terrible! I wouldn't go back. You should post the name of this place so others are aware.

I am also having a bad experience with one of these deals. I bought 6 sessions of laser hair removal for lower leg for $99. The business is located at Yonge & Sheppard. It is run by an actual Naturopathic Doctor who is a graduate from CCNM (she has the diplomas hung up to proove it).

She runs her business in one room... meaning the secretary is sitting in the same room as the client gets their procedure done. The women blab back and forth the entire time while I'm being uncomfortably zapped. Let me tell you that sometimes the pain feels so unbearable and I can't help but to show this through fidgeting, wincing etc. To which the naturopathic DOCTOR replies "Shhhhhhhh hahahahah its like you're giving birth" and she slaps my leg at the same time. She repetedly asks me to be quiet SHHHHHHH... as she giggles away with her colleague. She asks me to breaattheeee... even though I am visibly breather LOUD. Its rediculous. All I wanna say is SHUT UP and do your job and let me handle my pain the way I want to.

After the procedure has been "rushed through" as 2 other people are waiting outside the door for their appointment, I get off the table uhm, in my underwear at times and wipe down my legs as they are covered in gel... I haven't even had time to wipe them, let alone put my pants back on, when she opens the door and asks the next woman to come in. Seeing as I've taken up the one empty area in the office with my bag, clothes etc. This new person has no idea where to plop down her stuff. All this while I'm struggling to put my pants back on!!!

The only positive I can take away is that the laser treatments are actually working really well and I guess the entire experience is worth the outcome. But I've never run into anybody as immature and unprofessional in this sort of field. To think she is a ND blows my mind. I would NEVER recommend this place or her services.
